Norphonic is pleased to announce the release of a new SIP Back-up feature which allows the Norphonic telephone to register with a second SIP-Proxy, in case the 1st SIP-Proxy goes down. The SIP Back-Up feature can be programmed to switch back to the 1st SIP-Proxy once that becomes live again. This redundancy feature is highly useful in areas that are prone to SIP-Proxy fall-overs, such as in offshore or mining locations.
